Bas is a Dutch freelance journalist, specialising in design. He is editor in chief of What Design Can Do publications. As a freelance journalist he has been writing on design for various trade magazines and publications such as the Dutch Design Yearbook. He is also the author of a series of non-fiction books for children on topics ranging from film, money and environment to royal weddings and the European Union.
