This course is for those who have already completed introductory training in Design Thinking and want to explore one of its essential methods in more depth. Supported by our expert coaches, participants will gain the knowledge, experience and confidence to use service blueprinting effectively.
It is for anyone who wants to be able to design a new service or improve an existing one. Service Blueprints are a critical method for understanding the people and processes that make services work, and mastering them can help organisations deliver great customer experiences, reduce costs, identify potential points of failure and improve existing processes.
Supported by our expert coaches, you will gain the experience and confidence to use service blueprinting and begin innovating services with remote teams.
Discover the skills and techniques you need for effective service blueprinting. With personal coaching and feedback throughout, you’ll be able to develop your service blueprinting knowledge and skills.

Day 1: The Origins, Purpose and Basics of Service Blueprinting
Learn about where service blueprinting came from, when and why you might use the method and how to build a basic blueprint. Day 1 is focused on giving you everything you need to get started along with guidance on levels of detail and creating blueprints from other assets.

Day 2: The Value of Visualisation in Service Blueprinting
Learn how to tailor a service blueprint to your specific, organisational needs and identify the critical elements. Day 2 helps you better understand the challenges and opportunities of your service through visualisation and collaboration.

Day 3: Planning for Implementing a Service Blueprint
Learn how to create useful artefacts from a service blueprint and plan for the next steps. Day 3 completes the course with techniques and ideas for successful implementation and further development.

Q. How will the online course be taught?

Different to many other online courses, this is a live course, meaning you will be directly taught in real time by our coaches. It is not a self-paced, online tutorial course, but is a high intensity live course from leading coaches in the field and will be individual to each delegate taking part.
Q. How will I do the course online? What equipment do I need?
A.
Equipment: The only equipment you’ll need is a computer with a good connection to the internet, microphone, webcam and speakers or headphones.
Tools: Access is easy and universal, using industry standard web-based tools. Zoom is our primary tool for voice call, with exercises taking place within Mural and Google Docs.
Q. How long will the course take?
A.
Our December Service Blueprinting course is now sold out. Our next course takes place in April 2021

Q. English isn’t my first language. Does that matter?
A.
People from all over the world will be taking part and this cultural mix is one of the real strengths of our offer. However, it is important to have good basic spoken English to get the most out of the courses.
